The Belloli etudes have been tricky for me |
You would never know it listening

I hope that is somewhat akin to performance so that you are getting something out of the process that keeps you sharp, as your original statement of purpose says. I also thank you for putting yourself through that and sharing with the rest of us.

But you are doing a great job of it. I guess you could make it easier by just plowing through a book, but that might exacerbate other problems.

I hear a large chorus of "Amen, brother, Amen" to this. Though I will miss your etudes, I hope it is sooner rather than later. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS SP, Yamaha YTR-6335S

I thought this one was going along wonderfully, and then where the first part of the first line is echoed a little more than halfway through, there was a slight increase in the melodic feeling in your playing, nothing overt, just a boost. That was just brilliant. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS SP, Yamaha YTR-6335S

Another really great musical performance out of something many of us might not be able to find the music in. It is such a great lesson to find the music in all of these. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS SP, Yamaha YTR-6335S

Just a book of etudes by Balasanyan. I’d never seen them before this project. _________________ Jim Wilt

I don’t think that’s it. This one is from a book of 20 etudes, and #1 does not look like that. _________________ Jim Wilt
