These guys are terrific! I finally saw them live for the first time last year and they totally killed it. Long live T.O.P.!

Aldolfo is a BEAST of a player and a truly nice cat!

Heard this today on the local jazz station, will have to pick it up.

I normally don't pay retail, but hey, TOP, worth it.

Interesting story. A trumpet player friend of mine plays in a TOP Tribute Band. He got to meet the guys in the band a few years back. Most of the TH members will remember Adolfo played the lead book in Maynard's BBN for a few years. He was talking to Adolfo and asked him which book is harder. Adolfo told him the TOP book is tougher. BTW Adolfo doesn't play the lead book for TOP.

When I saw them last year, Sal Cracchiolo absolutely nailed it! Adolfo
was killing on all his solos though, and the band was funky as ever.
Looking forward to this one!

I've seen them live a number of time over the decades. They never fail in concert. So good in every way that matters.

I played in something of a tribute band for a while and wasn't worthy. When better players showed up I was happy for the band. The resulting group even shared the stage with TOP for a number of gigs. My near brush with greatness.

See my signature line. If being worthy was a requirement, the horn would never leave the case.

As one of my co players says, we have moments of greatness. That is enough. If you never dare, it never happens.

Sal and Adolfo are both monster players and really nice people-the legacy of that band is in wonderful hands...

Good call, Russell! Paid full pop for this, which I rarely do. Well worth it. Might be their most solid album since Souled Out.

Highly recommend the 40th Anniversary CD/DVD and the recently released 50th Anniversary Double CD.

And I’d never ever look at a golf club again, maybe a good idea😶
