Hi all,
Any thoughts as to the maker of this or is it most likely just a foreign import, China etc.

Vintage trumpet, unknown make https://imgur.com/gallery/b5xzN4C

Looks like an old European make. Some of the caps look like King but it's not that.

Definitely vintage European or a possible American stencil. Is that an art deco design? Next to the flowers in the center of the trumpet,is that a snake's head. Looks like a peashooter. What is the cost of it?

Kind of a different peashooter wrap with the third valve slide on the left side, rather than on the right side like the Conn peashooters.

Maybe Czech but more likely French or German. Made as a stencil that was never stenciled. Probably pre-war but I have a stencil cornet from the fifties that has similar engraving. It is a copy of a Besson Soliste that I have always assumed was French until I saw some German copies of French balanced trumpets that made me realize anything could and was made to order for retailers in those days Very cool peashooter!

Well I just paid the princely sum of £30 for it. I will load up some additional pictures when it arrives.

Also I posted this link a week or so ago in the wrong part of the forum...sorry, total newbie.

Dolnet Paris Trumpet https://imgur.com/gallery/b4eBjlX

Any of you have any info on these Dolnet stenciled trumpets? Have purchased and recieved and it's nice! Bb/C or a Bb/A.

Oh and you can probably guess I'm a new trumpeter! Loving this journey so far and who knew it was such a skill to be able to play one! My lips and lungs are working hard!

I am assuming you mean the Dolnet which I am learning on?

Well I am no expert but...even in current condition it seems 'easy' to blow. It's what I would describe as a jazzy sound from listening to Jazz, both modern and old.

I find it well balanced in the hand and I have big paws! It doesn't want to drop away from my face or feel like an effort to hold up so quiet light weight.

To be fair and in my very very limited experience I am finding it a joy to play!
