My Martin Committee’s. I’m in love with the sound and am constantly inspired by the players of the past and present who also play/ed Committees. I’ve got a folder on my computer with hundreds of photos of the greats on their Committee’s that I look through often before my practice sessions to fire me up.
EDIT: If anyone is interested in the folder, I just put it up on Dropbox, the link is below. The folder has pictures of Al Hirt, Ambrose Akinmusire, Art Farmer, Blue Mitchell, Chet Baker, Chris Botti, Conte Condoli, Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Henderson, Fats Navarro, Freddie Hubbard, Howard McGhee, James Moore, Justin Kisor, Kenny Dorham, Kevin Dean, Lee Morgan, Maynard Ferguson, Miles Davis, Roy Eldridge, Ryan Kisor, Scott Wendholt, Shorty Rogers, Steve Fishwick, and Wallace Roney. All playing on Martin Committee's.

Edwards X13 is it for me. It plays great, and the way it feels in my hands is really special. It reminds me of when I started playing because it is more spacious in the left hand, like how holding a horn felt when I was a kid. It also has a bit of a cornet vibe and I used to play cornet in middle school. It just feels really balanced and free, and when I play it I forget that I'm holding a piece of metal. |

I get the feeling that I'd absolutely love the X13, based on what I look for in a horn. |

Yeah I play tested the X 13 a while ago, it is on my wish list, but I just can’t afford it. Bummer. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

I love my Yamaha YTR-6335HSII. I can get a wide variety of sounds out of it, from dark to sizzling, and I've used it in many different settings from wind orchestra to playing lead.
When I started playing this trumpet, my sound immediately opened up. It was like night and day. It plays a bit better than a friend's Strad I've tried.
The only complaints I have with it are the entire bell was bent slightly downward by a previous owner, and the 3rd slide isn't as slick as I'd like. Otherwise, I don't see myself parting ways with this horn anytime soon. _________________ YTR-6335HSII

PMonteiro,
Those are two rather easy repairs for a truly skilled brass instrument repair technician. Don't trust your Yamaha to a hack repairman. _________________ C. G. Conn 60B Super Connstellation

I'm moving to an area with a British style Brass Band, so I pulled out the York Eminence cornet. Add a Wick 4 or 4B and I'm loving it.
Still love all of the above instruments too. _________________ Richard

My favorite? My 8310Z but I just picked up two 6310B Yamahas. One is beat to hell and the other has not been played much at all. I really like the tighter bells on them. Then there is the 38B and the Bach 43*....

1956 Selmer 25 large bore. Seriously underrated horns. I would recommend that anyone who likes Martin Committees check these out |

@jhatpro: I don’t play DelQuadro but a while back I play tested one of his old models with the heavy bracing when I visited Dillon Music in NJ. Easily the best horn on the huge wall of trumpets at Dillons. I was short of money at the time but I still talk about that horn as you can see. Best horn I played in a long time. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

1953 Chicago Benge. It is a little heavier than most of the Chicago Benges I have played. The tone is a little darker with big round great sound. _________________ Chicago Benge Large bore 1947
