Hi Everybody, studying the Warburton website I have found an interesting backbore comparison chart. It shows that the Reeves standard 2 backbore is in the Warburton 5 range. But the Reeves 69 and 692 , which are described by Reeves as being larger backbores are in the Warburton 3 range. How can that be?[[/b]

I think that the comparison is reversed by them. Also, The Warburton Chart is just a general ball park comparison. I play Warburton mouthpieces and have played them for a long time. They have way more backbores than anyone needs.

The 3 is pretty tight. The 5 is closer in comparison to the 692 and 69. I think that the Reeves backbores may be more consistent. I have a few Warburton backbores that are the exact same designation but are not exactly the same in taper.

Each mouthpiece manufacturer has their own way of describing their equipment and it is confusing when trying to compare them.
