Try limiting yourself to a series of ten minute sessions throughout throughout the day.
Play a variety of scales, patterns, etudes, tunes and alternate between P and F but never go beyond ten minutes.
If you have several different horns, alternate them.
If you have the time, try for at least 12 sessions a day. OK to use practice mute for some.
Try this for two weeks.
You'll be amazed! _________________ Jim Hatfield

Tride and true way to get endurance...play more! I used to play the Getchell Etudes up an octave and at half the tempo at the very end of my practice day. It wasn't pretty, but It did wonders for my high range and endurance! |
