I have a F. Lukavec flugelhorn that apparently I purchased years ago and found here at home. I can't seem to find too much about it. Most of the websites are in a language I don't understand. I did find this:
https://www.virtuosityboston.com/f-lukavec-bb-rotary-flugelhorn.html
Can anyone fill me in on the company, quality of the instrument. The one in the picture is raw brass, mine is a silver finish.
Thanks for your help.

Your flugelhorn was made in Prague and It appears to be from the very early 1900's. You are correct in seeing that little or no information is available.

It's pitched in C also. Interesting.
There's a small leak in it. Even at that, it plays pretty well. _________________ Never confuse beauty with things that put your mind at ease. - Charles E. Ives |
