Got an e-mail last night.
Claim is that it's one of those prepackaged bankruptcies and that customers won't notice disruption.

More accurately, Guitar Center is filing for bankruptcy, which affects them, Musicians' Friend, Music 123, WW & BW, Music & Arts, and I don't know what else.

Got two separate emails from Guitar Center and Music & Arts last night, too. My understanding is that Music & Arts and WWBW are subsidiaries of Guitar Center which is "backed" by Ares Capital a private-equity firm in NY. Interested to see what happens. Music & Arts support a lot of school programs.
