Hi ya'll. I'm wondering if anyone has specs for the King 7M trumpet mouthpiece or if there are any comparable mouthpieces. I can't seem to find any information about it. Would it be similar to a Giardenelli 7M? They share the same general blank shape afterall.
I recently switched to one that I've always had in my collection from a Bach 5C and I gotta say, I really like it. The rim feels like a thinner GR 65, super comfy, slightly flat, perfect amount of bite. The cup feels similar to a Warburton MC cup except deeper; steep inner angle, flat bottom, very bowl-ish - nice, round sound that pairs well with Bb trumpet. I think the only Bach mouthpiece that really compares is a 6C but with a more precise rim and even more bowl shape, though the depth and general idea are the same.
My only problem is my 7M's shank is slightly out of shape and it bothers the hell out of me. I'm going to buy another one off Ebay since they don't seem to be very rare. _________________ 81 Bb Bach Stradivarius 37/25 ML raw - Vincent Bach Corp. 5C

KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'. |

"Being and Time"? "Dasein"? That doesn't sound too hard. - Famous last words
let's just say my generation is super lucky to be able to pick and choose which Youtube philosophers explain things in a way they understand _________________ 81 Bb Bach Stradivarius 37/25 ML raw - Vincent Bach Corp. 5C

Exactly! I was a naive math/computer major and thought it might be sort of 'sciencey' so took it as a summer school class between my freshman and sophomore year ....
Symbolic Logic went much better!
