Hi fellow THers,
I know this is a long shot but trying anyway.
10-12 years I sold a Bach C trumpet to Quinn the Eskimo. I am assuming he then sold the horn (I contacted him earlier today). It was a late 1970s Bach C trumpet large bore with a 229 bell and converted to a reversed lead pipe and rounded tuning slide. The serial number 132183.
The horn belonged to one of my previous teachers and I have always regretted selling it. I am interested in buying the trumpet back if I can even manage to track it down. Please send me a PM if you are the owner or might somehow know the owner.
