A huge shout out to Jim Wilt! I recently discovered this amazing player after a 23-year layoff (career and kids) and his continuing You Tube etude series has inspired me to pick up the trumpet again!! It’s fun starting to work toward studies I haven’t touched since being a trumpet major in grad school!! Thanks Jim😊 _________________ "Keep a good head and always carry a light bulb." -- Bob Dylan |

Hello.
Welcome. I have been following Jim since last March, with his Vharlier recordings. Made me get out my book and learn the rest of the etudes. He is a super player and one hell of a nice person. If you have the time, go back to episode 1 and just follow what he has done. The intros change and are very entertaining. There are other really fine players, but Jim might be the most prolific. _________________ Christian K. Peters

We are so fortunate that he decided to do this Herculean effort. What a wonderful gift he has given us during this terrible time. jw |
