Interesting stuff about his warmup, etc. Totally his own man. He is definitely right that his horn is not for everyone. I played a couple Yamaha Eric Miyashiro horns when I was in Japan. Very light, not to my taste, but I like the fact that he says the color is inside the player, not the horn.

I love this interview because he has so many great things to say and some really valuable experience and perspective.

And I can't stand it when people say they're "self-taught."
