Since Kanstul went out of business I have been working very hard to get in a position that I could continue to make my 1S style trumpets. I now have most of the pieces of the puzzle in place. Within the next 2-3 weeks I should have around 30 horns completed and plated with Reeves valve alignments on each. I currently have just the 1S bell with the 2, 3, 7 and 9 lead pipes. they are available through Bob Reeves Mouthpieces. Ask for John.
Thanks,
Charley Davis

This is great news. Hope to try one of your horns one of these days.

Hi Mr. Davis,
What valve blocks are you using on your current horns? Are they a 1-piece casing like Kanstul or a 2-piece casing like Calicchio?

Hey, Charley!

What's the price of your horns?

This is absolutely wonderful news. I'm the happy owner of one of your early horns (1s-7; serial number below 20), and it is truly a killer horn. Best horn I've ever played with a good margin! Kudos to you and your friend Tony Scodwell!

Good luck with your new supplier - I hope you can continue making these trumpets for years to come.

Kind regards,
Kjetil from Oslo, Norway
