I'm having custom inlays made for my finger buttons. I need some kind of thin clear coat to brush over top to protect from scratches.
Anyone have specific recommendations? |

It's called Tru-stone. Some type of synthetic stone...often used for custom pen making. |

I use that for some of my inlays as well. It's fairly hard but not as hard as real stone.
I don't think it will get scratched unless you purposefully rub it against something abrasive. It shouldn't scratch from normal use. It's also used a lot in custom guitar neck inlays, and that would see more abuse than a finger button. _________________ www.divitt-trumpets.com
