Back in my college days I had a vocal range from E below the bass clef to high F (3 ledger lines) using falsetto. My natural range is high tenor.
There were days when my lip would get tired and I would use my falsetto to produce the notes from C -> F. I don't know how but it sounded just as if I was playing them with my lips.
One day one of my section mates figured out what I was doing. So naturally he decided to do it too. (He great at imitating the crooners like Bing)
Well, he made a big mistake in judgement to try it during rehearsal and not in a practice room and the director was not amused.
Edit: now that I am old, most of the above treble clef falsetto is gone for good.
