Anyone know the orchestra? I have an old record call Bravura Bach where he plays this with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.

It looks to me he's playing on a Bb piccolo (by fingerings) but the horn appears to large for that. I have read that he had a horn with fake tubing soldered on so that it would appear to be a bigger trumpet. This appears to be that instrument!!

I found an article about Adolph I remember seeing in print while doing research. At the time it was hard finding trumpeters who would tackle the Brandenburg:
