The guy who plays trombone one of the bands I'm in has got to be at least three guys. Here's a list of the bands he plans in and, in most cases, manages:
Banjuba (duo) (banjo/vocals and tuba)
No Class Trio (guitar/vocals, clarinet, tuba)
No Class Combo (clarinet/sax, piano, drums, tuba)
Bluegrass Tuba Kings (4-piece Irish/bluegrass: harmonica/penny whistle, fiddle, guitar, tuba
Wild Rumpus Jazz Band (7) trad jazz: clarinet, trumpet, trombone, banjo, piano, drums, tuba
Roger's Happy Seven (polka band: 2 clarinets, trumpet, trombone, tuba, accordion, drums)
Midnight Stars Orchestra (11) 20s-30s dance/swing (3 sax/clarinet, 3 brass, violin, banjo, piano, drums, tuba
Chicago Trombone Classical Band (4-9 trombone choir)
Chicago Trombone Jazz Band (5+ trombones, rhythm section)
Rogers Park Trombones (quartet)
Badass Gumbo (7) New Orleans jazz and hot house.
Dixie Dogs (7) old fashioned Dixieland Band
Bobby Schiff Trio (piano, clarinet, tuba. Trad jazz)
Trombonaires (trombone quartet, outstanding group. Our lead player played on the sound track of 30 major movies))
Chicago Vintage Band (11) civil war band which performs at the Chicago History Museum. _________________ Jim Hatfield
