My favo mouthpiece for smooth jazz is a Denis Wick 4F, I think its a Cornet one and it fits in de S leadpipe of the flügelhorn.
I never tried a L leadpipe because the Denis Wick 4F falls almost in until the cup....it doesnt fit but.....I get better sound with the L leadpipe and it doesnt limit my airflow.
Is there a Denis Wick 4F that fits in a L leadpipe with a same bore?
Or does it have a different bore? _________________ It's the sound you make |

Your 4F is definitely a flugel mouthpiece. The Denis Wick 4FL has a larger shank but is the same in every other way. It might not be large enough for your 'L' leadpipe though. That pipe could be made for the very large shank used on rotary flugels. What make/model is your instrument?
