I picked up this piece. Trying to find out when it was manufactured (my guess is 20’s) and what size it would be close to (maybe a 3ish rim with a C or Bish cup?).

Any insight is appreciated.

I used to have an Aida mouthpiece in my collection. I never took actual measurements, but my estimate is that it was similar to a 7C or slightly smaller. It looked like a 1920’s mouthpiece.

There are different sizes of Aida mouthpiece. I have a large which measures between a 1.5 and 3 rim diameter.

Any relationship with the herald trumpet used in Verdi’s Aida? (A special mouthpiece for this kind of horns?)

I forgot about the size aspect. Mine said Medium which seemed similar to a 7C.
