if you join in, the probability will almost surely increase, according to the "infinite monkey Shakespeare theory"

A nod honouring the name of this forum, "Take a trumpet, Herald" (Henry V, VII, 54)

Shakespeare is not going to change anything, still well said by LittleRusty.

Is it okay with you and LittleRusty if we stop paraphrasing Shakespeare and simply quote him directly?

Even better to stop and/or delete this thread, it's about nothing.

Perhaps you are making . . . much ado about nothing?

Halflip you beat me to it! 2 pages is not nothing, as Lear said "nothing will come of nothing". I, for one, learned that B is for trumpet with Conn.

I thought Huntman10's post was brilliant.

That's been attributed to Sir William of Preston (the "fifth bard").

When this thread started my expectations were low. Now it's a favorite.

Never been called a monkey before. Sorry for finding some humor in what had been written.

Utterly brilliant, I'd missed it. Right on point with the King Lear quote. For history buffs, this was a few years after Sir William of Preston got back (many thought he was in exile but he was another bard).

You are right. Flew right over my head and I am too damned old to go back to my h.s. or college english classes and have them school me again.

mm55's riddle was easier for Beatles fans.
Sir William Preston:

Do not be decieved. Huntman 10's erudite post was actually written by Sir Francis Bacon.

King Lear is my favorite play! My dream was to see the very first production in 1606. For a long time, I studied the history of Shakespeare, his complete biography. There was a lot of admiration around him, but there was also criticism - have a peek here to find out how the writers criticized his Hamlet. In addition, you can also find other examples of research papers about Historical Criticism. But despite the opinions of others, still, the characters of Shakespeare are the height of perfection.

Heaven has no rage, like question to humor turned,

Nor Hell a fury, like a Heralder scorned.
