Hello guys , I have two Schilke 15A4 that get recently to try , one for trumpet and one for cornet and I noticed that is not the same , the cornet piece have different rim from trumpet mpc , the trumpet piece rim is flat and wide and the cornet mpc is rounder and not so wide , is that normal , as I now the pieces for trumpet and cornet with the same top are identical and only the bbore is different.

Regards

I have several of that size, in both trumpet and cornet, and use it exclusively (currently) for all my high instrument (Eb and Pic) playing. I don't see any difference in any of mine. Are both yours in similar condition, from a similar period?

I bought it used , the trumpet piece is from a TH member and the cornet from Dillon's so I dont now the period but I am sure that the cornet piece is a special order.

The '4' is the labeling of the rim so they should be the same (a semi-flat rim in the 14 size range). Are you sure there is a '4' in the labeling of the cornet mouthpiece? If not it could then be a special order 14A with the standard #3 rim.

Yes I am sure , is a 15A4 but the rim is round, probably a special order or a mistake , by the way the cornet piece is for sale if someone interest.
