Hello,

What are the horns that have or had really nice engravings? Not individually customized ones, but regular production models from the past and present, engraved by the manufacturer, including limited editions.

Please share the ones you know. It can be either very elaborate, or more simple but particularly deep or for example ornate up to the end of the bell pipe, or the ones that have old-school cursive handwriting, or ones that display craftsmanship that rarely seen any more.

What is your favourite engraved horn?

As an owner of an Olds Recording I'm biased of course, but I kinda like the Olds Recording factory engraving:

I really like the Selmer Radials with factory engraved bells. Am yet to find (and buy) one, but this is the idea: https://www.shoppok.com/monroe/Selmer-Paris-Radial-Trumpet----1495--New-Orleans--LA-,55,76603,image_large.htm

The King Silversonics and Silvertones also look nice. I’m particularly attracted to those from the 1930 and 1940s, the newer ones are not as pretty: http://www.hnwhite.com/King/For%20Sale%20Items/177994/177994%20ST%20Cornet%20Pic%202.jpg
