I actually own a DePrins trumpet. I got it in the late '60s and it's a C-D trumpet with 2 sets of slides.
It's a solid well built instrument and the intonation is pretty good. While I haven't measured, it's a pretty small bore and not an orchestral C. I would probably be a pretty good D but I've rarely played D (since 1st piccolo tpt in 1970)
My guess is that it's past it's prime as a player, but I don't know how well it played back in it's day.... |

Think more of 20$, it's a wallhanger IMO.
And '1935' on the bell means nothing except that it is from after 1935. |
