50/50 in my experience. With lots of players playing Bach flugels you find a to of Bach flugel mouthpieces too. _________________ Bb - Scherzer 8218W, Schilke S22, Bach 43, Selmer 19A Balanced

Living in the US, the 'stomping grounds' so to speak of Bach, I don't think I've *ever* actually seen anyone playing a Bach flugel, unless you count a convention floor and a Bach display table. There are tons of Yamaha, Kanstul, Cuesnon, even Olds and Le Blanc flugels floating around in a lot of hands, but for whatever reason, despite Bach trumpets (and cornets) being pretty darn popular here, their flugels are about as rare as can be.
Maybe they all got shipped to the UK. _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |
