Does anyone know what the part breakdown is for Holst 1st in Eb - how many cornet / trumpet parts?

TIA

Depending on the edition I've seen:

2 Trumpet + 2 Cornet (Optional Trumpet)
2 Trumpet + 2 Cornet (1 is solo)+ 2 Flugel
3 Cornet (1 is solo) + 2 Trumpet (Optional Trumpet)

Im sure there are others too....

I believe the most common one is 3 Cornet with Ad lib Trumpet but I'm not sure about that

The Boosey and Hawkes edition shows the parts this way.

I've played this at least a dozen times over the years and this was always the version on the stand.

That's the version I've always played in my band career.
