Hello, this is my first posting on this website.

I intend to purchase my first professional horn, and the Xeno trumpets have spoken to me. I've tested a few out at stores and fell in love with the 8335iiS and 8335GS.

I like silver horns and although it was silver, I'm very curious about the meaning of "G".

If anyone knows please let me know.

Thank you.

Gold brass bell (higher copper content in the brass.) Changes the tone and focus of the sound. Maybe darker tone, lots of claims made about the higher copper bells. Try it before you buy it, if possible.

Yup, gold brass bell. Actually darker at softer volumes, but brighter at higher volumes.

You'll be happy with it. I am with mine. I bought one a couple weeks ago and I can state with no word of lie that the "G" stands for "Gee", as in, this is a fantastic horn.

Make sure you try the gold brass bell vs. the yellow brass bell before you buy. Both are excellent trumpets.
