Yamaha 13A4a vs. Schilke 13A4a

Many of Yamaha's mouthpieces share size designations with Schilke. Has anyone played both the Yamaha and the Schilke models of the same designation? How do they compare?

In my experience (years of working in retail & wholesale in the music business) the Yamaha will feel like a Schilke 1 size smaller. A Yamaha 13xxx will feel more similar to a Schilke 12xxx.

I went over to Schilke and Yamaha mouthpieces (16C4 mostly) after playing Bach 1's and 1 1/2 pieces since 1968 several years back, and when I started regularly playing Eb cornet and Pic, I used a 15A4a on the Eb and 14A4a (and later 14A4x) on the pic. I have a few Yamaha's in addition to the Schilke, and I believe the perceived smaller size is due to the Yamaha rim being a bit flatter than the Schilke, making the bite a bit further in, based on the feel to me.
