Taht was a nice arrangement, thanks for posting.

It brought back some great memories. Mel Torme wrote this song. Back in the 80's I got a call on a Saturday afternoon at the Blue Max in Chicago, to sub that night for Mr. Torme's show.

They told me to come early to look through the book. No one told me, but when I got there, they handed me the lead book. I was basically sight reading the show, but everything went well and Mr. Torme came up to me afterwards to thank me for doing a good job. I'll always remember that night.

Awfully nice of you to share this with everyone. Thanks for taking the time and effort to do it.

Not only is it ear candy, it motivates folks like me to keep practicing.

Warm regards,
Grits

Loved it. Our band played it Wednesday.

Then this morning I got the bad news that our band is shutting down ( Covid again ) for an undetermined period. I was feeling down but listening and watching the video here gave me a real lift.

Thank you so much.

George

Thank you for taking a listen, George. Hang in there - the band will be back sooner than you think! We’ve got plenty of videos coming to boost your spirits in the meantime!
