Any fans of Clifford Brown might just enjoy this, superb performance from Ryan Quigley recreating some of the Clifford with Stings album.

Nice arrangement. I don't get what the Clifford Brown connection is, though.

These are the arrangements recorded by Clifford Brown on the album “Clifford Brown with Strings”.

Thanks. That sounds like Neil Hefti or Manny Album charts. Anybody know?

Ryan Quigley is versatile and does some tasty playng on this. In addition to this he is a great lead player. If you watch any of Louis Dowdeswell's studio big band videos, RQ is playing lead and killing it.

I believe the string section was only nine players. Perhaps that's why it sounds thin.

Not to worry, jazztpt. I know the record from my deep, dark past. Just didn't know who wrote charts.
