Hi guys,

I just a side-by-side with a Schilke B3 Yellow Brass bell and a 'Beryllium' bell.
It was close, but after about an hour of playing the same excerpts, the edge definitely goes to the “b” bell. It has a little extra “zing” in the upper register and a little more warmth in the lower register. Also, the "b" is more responsive, which is interesting because I've been playing the brass bell for a couple of weeks already.

I plan on returning the B3 Yellow Brass. I bought it for $2,248 as a Demo. It has one tiny (microscopic) dent in the bell. I plan on returning it on Monday. If you're interested, let me know and I can sell it in the Marketplace.

Awesome horns!

Ken
