Hey TH - it's hard to believe this is episode 50 for #mutemonday!

These are the newly released mutes from Hawkins Mutes, some very unique mutes that are worth checking out!

Has anyone else here tried these out yet? If so, what did you think?

They are nice mutes. Something to note is that the "corks" are quite thin. Not much you could do to adjust them. That doesn't present a problem for my horns, but I do wonder how the cup mute would fit in 5.5" bell.

Also, the design makes the mutes easy to grip and twist/untwist into the bell, and you don't need to worry about them rolling away on the stage floor (unlike, say, the round-bottom Tatu straight mute).
