Been working on the 'book' for my band for the last couple of years, going through the almost 1300 charts and recopying beat up charts, recreating missing parts, that sort of thing. Now that Covid is (maybe) on the horizon someday I'm looking to put my band back together. A few of the guys have asked about it.
But ... the latest chart I am trying to do it Toshiko's "Strive for Jive".
With a normal chart, if a part is missing, I can write one that works just fine, but Toshiko? No way. Her stuff is not easily amenable to that sort of analysis, at least not by me.
Does anyone have the 1st Alto Sax part for this? If you do, I'll own you.
Thanks!
