1. Cell phone ring tone set up to "test"
2. Flea market and look for old rotary phone that has not been updated. You will need a battery or other current source, some wire and a switch. Wire directly to the bell. |

The issue I see with the cell phone solution is getting the timing/rhythm right. You really want it to start (and more importantly stop) on time.
If you wanted a joke, you could have the band play the excerpt from Taregga's Gran Vals that Nokia used for their ringtone. I would only do this once. |
