I checked the forum history and if this has been addressed please indulge me, but I played on a Silversonic at church that a buddy had and loved it. I bought one and loved mine as well. One morning at church I noticed his was different than mine even though based on their serial numbers both horns were made within the same 5 year period. Mine is the Super Symphony with my buddy's being the Silversonic. Does anyone have any further information on these horns? I has visited the HN White website and did not find what I was looking for.

Thanks

Well, they are good horns I think. The significance of the silver sonic is the sterling silver lead pipe and bell of course. However, I did not think a super symphony had that. I could be wrong.

Also the engraving on those horns is spectacular.

The guy on here who runs trumpet history will be able to tell you more. I'm sure he will chime in soon.

It does have a sterling silver bell as per the engraving on it. The placement of the first valve slide is different from the Silversonic as is some of the bracing. They are very similar but different horns. I'll look forward to the history folks chiming in.

They did silver sonic bells on the Liberty and the Super 20 Symphony. Lots of pictures of examples here. http://www.hnwhite.com/hn%20white%20store.htm#Trumpets

It will take you some time, but there is a lot of information about the trumpets and mouthpieces scattered within the following King/White publications.

A big thank you to the Saxophone community for maintaining this.

Let me also add thanks to the sax folks for this info. The catalogs answer a lot of questions that were not available elsewhere. Thanks to Andy for the heads up on this info.
