I learned that Roy Hargrove used the Roditi/Dillon 3c mouthpiece for a while. Does anyone know him?

Do you mean do we know Claudio Roditi (passed away), Roy Hargrove (passed away), or Dillon (not sure), or the mouthpiece?

Dillon is for Dillon Music in New Jersey. They used to do custom mouthpieces and custom alterations. Claudio Roditi had a line of custom mouthpieces through Dillon, including rotary trumpet mouthpieces, and he probably gave the mouthpiece to Roy Hargrove while they were both on the Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band in NYC.

That's great info that ties these names together, and thank you. I still don't understand what the original request means. Since Claudio Roditi is involved, the topic does interest me.
