Hi everybody,
Today I played a new Bach 3C and it felt very tight in comparison to all my older ones. Does anybody know if they have a tighter backbore s? |

I can’t comment on the current Bach 3C’s. However, I had some later Corp mouthpieces, and they were very tight 27 drills. I speculate that this was from mouthpiece machinery that had worn down a little bit, creating a smaller drill. May or may not be the case then or now. |

I would play a dozen or so 'new' bach 3c's to be sure.
The could have re-tooled recently, and there are maybe half a dozen iterations of the Bach mouthpiece lineup throughout the generations anyway. |

Certainly it could be the throat size - maybe even to much silver plate - but why not compare your mouthpiece gaps. |
