80duece505 - You will need to host the pics on one of the online sites. I use Imgur. See instructions on link.

80duece505 - I am not sure which model Conn you have since I am not familiar with the brand. There is a marketplace tab up near the top on TrumpetHerald, between home and forum. I believe you need to have a minimum of 5 post and there is a separate activation to post items for sale. The info is on the marketplace page.

No one else?
Ok I will bite here, this Conn is either an 8B Gustat Symphony or the later version Conn 2B (40s/50s), I'm leaning towards 8B Gustat because of the position of where the 1st slide trigger is mounted.
On this horn the trigger is mounted vertically onto the 1st valve piston casing, on the later 2Bs, the trigger mechanism is mounted on the side of the 1st valve casing.
I've had a few 8B Gustats about a decade ago, they were rare then but now, they are much more scarce, Conn collectors should get their hands on a 8B in decent shape, they are stellar horns.
Besides the positioning of the 1st valve trigger, I think the other differences between the 8B and later 2B is the thickness of the brass or bell. I believe it is thicker on the Gustat.
If memory serves me correct, I also beleive there was a talk on how the bells of the 8B Gustats would have a long ring to them when you flicked them. |
