Does anyone play a Vincent Bach Corp. 3C (small dot)?
(I believe they are from the 80's) Impressions? Compared to the current Bach 3C?

I have one. Slightly more rounded edge than the current ones. It also feels tighter. Depth identical to the current ones, but cup slightly less hollowed out. Less brilliant sound than the current ones, but more controllable. More smoky.

I grew up on the 3C with the dot back in the 80's. Can't remember if it was similar to the new ones. I have the new CNC 3C and am real happy with it. If you want a new one to sound a little more smoky get a 26 throat and it will sound more mellow until you push it. That's what I did. Bought it from Osmun and had them open it up and ship to me. It works real well with my NY Bach 37 7.

It seems to sound much better than the current 3c. I have only now rediscovered it. Great beautiful mouthpiece. In fact the modern Bach 3c seems to be too bright, especially to rise

Among other things, the gap is reduced with this mouthpiece. Go more

It looked like the world was playing a Bach 3c Corp. Now no one plays it anymore

They are not all the same. Most are stuffy. Too dark

Yes, I'm interested too. Does anyone play 80's Bach Corp. 3C?
