Anyone have one if these for sale? I like the Bach 5B but it’s too sharp

I don't have one but I do know that in addition to selling a 5B mouthpiece, ACB sells what they call their CB line, which they described to me as the 5B cup* but with different rims. So you can have that 5B cup on a 1 rim or what have you. I ended up going with their 1B (not a 1CB) mouthpiece and think it great for concert bands / orchestral work. That said I have a Bach 5B cornet mouthpiece in a drawer and while the rim is too small for my tastes, there is something unique and wonderful about its sound.

*If I remember correctly, the Bach 5B is more of a funnel than Bach's other B cups, and sufficiently different from the other B cups that ACB offers both an "ordinary" B cup and the "5B" cup, i.e. the CB.

I appreciate the response. I’m looking for the full ACB 5B mouthpiece in standard blank. They said it would be 8-10 weeks to get one ready(nine he stock) I love the 5B (for my thin chops)but the Bach 5B is not too comfortable.

I nave been using an Austin Custom Brass TA-1 CS, lately. It's very comfortable and has a nice sound. I've been matching it up with my Commitee. It's ACB's closest offering to a Mt. Vernon 5/6 C. If you've got the coin, you might try one.

Hello!
I often use the ACB 5b (mine is in vintage blank) and it is a great piece, very comfortable rim and great sound on both my piston and rotary Bb.
Greetings
