Probably the wrong sub-Forum but, hey. Anyway, this should be a simple question but evidently not (see below). Simple question: Is there a French Trumpet Forum?

This lame-brained search engine for Topic "French Trumpet Forum?" came up with-you guessed it-Trumpet Herald (American). Subsequent entries were Trumpet Board (still American) then a lot of French horn topics. Grrr! I even searched "French internet (fill in the blanks)" and got French Interne tservices only. What's a guy to do?

So, anyway, are there any French TH Forum members who can answer my question? Thanks.

I found this forum, though it seems it’s been going somewhat inactive:
https://www.matrompette.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1

Edit: there’s also a German trumpet forum:

I guess all this off-topic talk means no one can answer my question?

It would be nice, if one wants to have an active conversation about an off-topic subject, that they start another thread, not hijack and dilute the one they're on.

Kehaulani,
the only forum in French I know is…Swiss (as far as I know) and quoted by Stuartissimo. I am a member and yes there is not a lot of activities but there is some knowledgeable people there. So post there if you want and we will see what happen!
May be there is something in Facebook but I am not a member of Facebook so I don’t know.
Regards

Have you tried formulating your search question in French?

Yes. You know wha the first hit was? Trumpet Herald! Followed third down by Trompetenforum.de. Geez Marie.

I found the site stuartissimo referenced and a couple links that might help steer you in the right direction:
