Inspired by the https://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1680037#1680037 thread, and whether the article was human written or not, I asked ChatGPT to write me write a few words (and variations) on "The Enigma of Stradivarius Trumpets". Maybe there would be some overlap or interesting insights.

Rather than posting this on TrumpetHerald, which would just create a long article of clutter, there's a link below for those interested in the brave new world we are entering. Note the ChatGPT disclaimer "ChatGPT may produce inaccurate information about people, places, or facts."

There are some interesting insights, I'm sure you'll agree! Enjoy the ride and be staggered about what you didn't know. An enigma, indeed!

As a bonus, I asked Chat GPT to also create a rap about TrumpetHerald.com for those who feel that now they have mastered the Henze Sonatina, Brandenburg 2 and Giant Steps in 12 keys, they want to stretch their musical chops in a new direction.

Very interesting but I'm still not convinced the original post (article) was an AI generated doc, at least not from the consumer versions. It's an enigma...

OK, now back to Giant Steps in Gb!

I think it is odd that a decent AI would find enough 'reliable material' to conclude that Stradivarius did make trumpets. Regardless of Bach using the name for a model of his trumpet line.

Did you provide 'input data' claiming that Stradivarius did make trumpets?

I don't have experience with the new AI apps; do they include an option for the user to provide their own set of 'facts', and then the app does the 'arranging' to result in textual output?

KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'.

As a conductor, I don't know how many times I've heard "45 musicians and a conductor".
