"view posts since last visit" list out of control

In the past, once a day, the Forum purged my Forum posts of those posts that had been answered. In other words, if a post had been answered then it disappeared from my "view posts since last visit" list, once daily.

Suddenly, it's not eliminating all answered posts and starting anew each day. IRather, my list is accumulating all previous posts and now the list, rather than being one or one and a half pages of thread topics, it's grown to four pages. I hope I expressed this clearly.

Any ideas why and what I can do to restore it to the way it was?

I logged out and back in and my list was cleared. Maybe try refreshing again, or clearing the cookies?
