I was watching "The Repair Shop" (a British TV show where experts in a variety of fields repair/refurbish items brought into the shop) the other day and a person brought in a silver-plated cornet that needed to be completely restored. It looked like an older style, my guess is that it was probably from the 1930s/1940s, but other than a quick view of the bell, they didn't provide any details about the manufacturer.

The one view of the bell they did give showed the word "Dulce" engraved on the bell, but I haven't been able to find anything about a cornet manufacturer by that name. Since this is a British show, I assume that manufacturer was European, but even a Google search doesn't really turn up any info.

Does anyone know anything about that horn or manufacturer? I'm not looking to try and find one, I'm just curious to continue to expand my knowlege about older instruments.
