ok...should the top teeth be almost even with the top lip while playing? mine is.. or should it be below the top teeth..?

Reason I asktrhis is because i get the sensation that when I compress my lips im actually pulling then in om my teeth..but if i open up more it fell like i can make alot(i mean alot) more comprees towards the center..any ideas on this?
