Hey guys, I have seen a lot of quotes from different "famous" players and wanted to know where they came from. Are there some books out there I could read? I saw a quote from Armando Ghittala and I had a hard time finding a CD of his let alone a book written by him or about him. suggestions? Thanks |

There used to be a book called "Trumpet Profiles" written by Louis Davidson which contained a questionaire about equipment, practice routines, teachers,
influences, etc . This book consisted of many famous players (legit and jazz)
answering these questionaires. Very intresting. I don't know if it is still
in print, but it was an intresting read. |

You would probably also enjoy a book by Chase Sanborn entitled "Brass Tactics". _________________ J. Fowler
