my lessons teacher told me to get an arbans book while he was away, but now that I've looked around, I'm not sure if I should get the Arbans complete conservatory method for trumpet, or just the complete method for trumpet. Please tell me what the difference is between these two books. Thanks

I would get the Complete Conservatory Method (Red Cover, published by Carl Fischer). That is the version that 95% of the trumpet playing world has. And, it has all the Arban stuff in it.
