My teacher has asked me to start working on the first of the Stamp "Bending exercises" (p. 21 in Warm-Ups and Studies). I have a question about continuing the pattern in the study. (I'd ask my teacher, but my next lesson won't be for another week and a half.)

I thought I understood the study when he assigned it to me, but I can see multiple ways to follow the pattern in the latter parts of the exercise. The pattern is spelled out in the first 13 measures, in G major. The pattern then moves from starting on G to starting on C -- should I then go down to C or down to the low G? And should I do each pattern in the key of the starting note?

In case it matters, the goal is to get a more relaxed and centered sound.

Thanks!
