I am thinking about getting one and would like a little more info on it. From what I know it was made by Couesnon for Selmer as a mid level flugel. It looks just like a Couesnon, small, with the piece of metal on the bell tale for protection, bottom sprung. Sweet sound and the intonation is great. It has some dents and a lot of the platting is wearing off, but I can get it for $200. I could get the dents removed and leave it as is. It sounds great now... dents and all.
Anyone with a little more history would be appreciated.
Thanks

Dear friend;
This flugelhorn have good reputation, is a a Couesnon Monopole with the Signet Logo. Its good price, but ask for a discount, 25 or 30 dollars less. You can Replate and repair with 400 dollars more and you have great Flugel. evaluate. the best company to replate it is Kanstul.

It plays well as is. I was thinking about sending it to Lee Adams at Trumpetchops. http://www.trumpetchops.com/
He is a great guy and does great work. I may just get the dents out and play it for a while.
Thanks

If it plays and you like it, for 200 it is hard to go wrong.
