Doesn't matter -- the Cards are going to mop up whoever is left after this slugfest! That is the disadvantage -- Yanks and Sox play each other so hard that the winner is pretty spent emotionally after it is over.

Ortiz did it again tonight, making it 3-2 series now. This is getting very interesting.

I'm with you. Less chance of me dying from cardiac arrest when I only have to suffer through 9 innings rather than 14.

Schilling pitches tomorrow. Do you think MLB will let him drive a wheelchair to the mound or just take a crutch? I wonder if David Ortiz can pitch? Hmmm....

Seriously, though, it's getting good. Yankmees goin' down game 6, I think.

I have a friend who thinks the Schilling ankle thing is a ploy.. guess we'll see tonight..

(Of course, I have another friend who believes this is all set up and controlled by a band of gnomes in Geneva.) (I know. I have odd friends.)

No kidding, those guys are going to be the death of me.

I say the Yanks in seven, but I'm happy the Socks are making a series of it.

The long game actually turned out to be a real positive thing for my practicing.... I did nothing but Clark, long tones and breath attacks all night while watching it...

Tonight was a glorious game indeed, and if the Astros and Red Sox go to the world series (my two favorite teams), I might just have to "be sick" for a week or two and follow this puppy. Let's go 'Stros!

I am just amazed at this series. I was ready to be done with this game 4. The Sox are showing incredible heart. Schilling can not be called anything but a hero for tonight's effort. I am just sorry that I was stuck in a rehearsal and was only able to follow the game by my wife text messaging me on my cell phone every half inning or scoring play. I have the best wife in the world, by the way....

GO RED SOX!!!!!! I BELIEVE!!!!!!!

Hell, no. Doc's not much of a baseball fan these days. I think the last strike did him in. But...I think that if he had to pick, he'd go for the underdog.

For the record, Doc IS a huge sports enthusiast nonetheless.

GO SPURS.

The setup is now complete. Tonight, the ghosts of Yankee lore will show (along with the fans and the current Yankee Bombers) and put the stake in the heart once again...
Well, that's my story anyway....
