Besson Brevette [has kanstul stamped on it, so it was borderline whether to call it "kanstul" or "other" in the selections -- I decided it technically was "other"]

Mouthpiece is custom made from a CG Personal trumpet mouthpiece -- bowl was deepened out all the way thru the throat to make something much deeper than the CG Personal Flugel mouthpiece. (And the stem was machined to fit the brevette). Wasn't my design -- I bought the horn from Bruce Haag and he had a piece like this that he let me try at the time. I really liked it so had one made for me by Larry Souza (who, I think, came up w/ it in the first place.)

Currently playing a 60's-vintage Olds flugel with the red brass bell, and a GR 65.6 Macaluso model flugel piece.

I have a Yammie 635T model that I like as well, but the Olds has more of the trad flugel sound.
